Hi All,
Just a quick one, I have accidentally deleted the contacts on my sim card,
is there a chaeap way, if any to recover them

It's not as silly a question as you might at first think .You can
"delete" images on a camera memory card but they can be recovered by
using suitable software like Photorescue so it's reasmable to ask if
there is a way of recovering data from a sim card .

Hmm, it's possible I suppose but I've never heard of it being done. A
memory card behaves effectively like a computer hard drive and can be
accessed in the same way on a computer, so data recovery solutions will
probably work. A SIM card is different and uses a different method of
storage. If anyone can do it I would have thought we'd have heard of it on
this group before now.

It is certainly possible with a computer disk and has been done so it
can probably be done with a SIM but the cost may well be prohibitive.
