Nokia 6288 mini sd memory card problems!

Hello,

I have just had two Nokia 6288 phones and neither of them seem to
recognise the memory card when I insert it. I expected to see a memory
card option in the my items folder but there is nothing there. Also if
I look at the memory status of the phone with and without the card
there is no difference in the amount of memory available. Has anybody
else seen or know of this problem and how to get over it? Many thanks

Its obviously the memory card thats at fault if you leave the phone on
for an hour or so it may appear. The only sensible option is to get a
mini sd card from a reliable manufacturer like sandisk.
