    Hello there,

I'm looking for a pay monthly mobile tariff where I'm able to use
the inclusive minute allowance to call non-geographic numbers
    starting 08 OR 07744 and 07755 numbers.

I've checked on the O2 webpage - unfortunately it's not possible
with O2 anymore. Also Virgin mobile doesn't do it.
It seems the providers have just changed their policy, as a friend
of mine got a monthy tariff with O2 two months ago where he is able
to use the inclusive minute allowance to make such calls.

So, does anyone know of a provider who is still (May 2007) offering
a monthly mobile tariff with inclusive minute which also can be used
to call numbers starting 08 OR 07744 OR 07755 numbers?

    Thx,
    Wolfgang

And will shortly have his T&Cs changed (if he's not already done so) to
    exclude them.

Afaik the exclusion of 0870/0845 etc. is for contracts that started
after May 1st. If you have a contract which started before that then
    it doesn't apply.

do not know if it will help the original poster cause he did not say
what countries and if they are landline or mobiles he is calling but i
got three contracts with orange two are everyday 50 line 1 with 10%
line discount and the third is line one ovp virgin and line 2 everyday
50 and cost about 10 a month as long calling after off peak and can
the places on 0870/0845 will be a good traffic and can transfer the
contract over. was going to put them on ebay or something but rather
help a fellow mobile newsgroup first (already ask familyand couple of
    friends)

I do not think that there are any new tariffs with 0870/0845
available. O2 were the only provider that offered these 08s and many
people, such as myself, specifically chose O2 for that reason.
Now O2 no longer offer that provision many will go for more
    attractive offers eleswhere.
Older tariffs such as O2 PUFFL and Orange Everyday 50 do 0870/0845
but these tariffs are for 'on-net' and landlines during off-peak time.
