Swapping SIM cards

I have an Orange K750i that I've recently (Saturday) moved on to PAYG
from Pay Monthly.

If I was to get an Orange PAYG K800i (I'd prefer a K810i but I don't
think you can get those on Orange PAYG) from somewhere, would I be able
to just pop my old SIM in to keep the number or would it be more
complicated than that.

I would have thought that being both Orange, it would work but do they
do something funky with the IMEI number?

I think my options are to get a PAYG K800i and swap the sim over or get
a sim free K810i. Big decision cost wise but I think the advantages of
the K810i over the K800i might just swing it.

I'm concerned about the wonky lens cover on the K800, my father has one
and needs to use this nasty perspex case to stop the lens cover from
sliding open. Plus the 810 is smaller.

I'm still hovering over which one to get. I think I'm going to have to
find a couple of examples and prod them some.

Mine occasionally opens while in a pocket, it's not ideal design, but
not /that/ bad.

K800 is 106x47x21
K810 is 106x48x17

I think the 4mm difference in thickness is due to the different lens
cover on K810, not the whole body, the 1mm difference in width is
probably just the shutter release button.
