Premium reverse SMS

I've had 4 unsolicited Premium SMS messages in last couple
of months on Vodafone. All from different numbers, although
two had exactly the same content. Complained to Vodafone
who confirmed I had been charged premium rate (£1.50 each)
but refused to do anything, and to ICSTIS who refused to do
anything. However, I guess someone has done something, as
in the end, none of them have appeared on my monthly bills.

Strange, but a good outcome. If only they could have said at
the time that they would do something about it, I would have
been a lot less pissed off. I had started looking for a new
contract, so they nearly lost me, but as it's been cancelled
off the bill, I'll stick with Vodafone.

ah, that was your mistake. Right there.

If it happens again and you know for sure that the charges are fraudulent,
write, by Recorded Delivery, to them asking for the name and office address
of their Co Sec because you're involving the Police for theft and false
accounting and they will need to know where to go to make the necessary
arrest.

Trust me, they will back down faster than you can say "you thieving
monkeys".

So you're willing to put up with bad service if they write off £6?
You're very cheap to maintain.
