Orange upgrades

Started a 18 month contract in June 2006. I am thinking of upgrading in the
last three months of my contract (mid September)

However, when I sign into 'my account' on line it states that I cannot
upgrade until 12th Feb 2008!!!!!

Any idea what's going on here? The only thing I have changed on my account
during the contract is the Orange World bundle last month from the £16 =
25Mb to the £8=30Mb bundle.

I assume that this is an error and that Orange know when my contract is
supposed to end?

I could phone them up but don't fancy being online for ages and I don't
really need to ask them until mid September anyhow!

Tim

How did you sort it - did you call customer services?

IME, and counter to received wisdom, calling CS is not always an
exercise in abject frustration and futility.

LOL. One of the reasons I left them was due to half-hour waits on the
phone, and then a pointless discussion once I got through. Have they
improved? You can get through in a few minutes when they make an error
on your bill in their favour?

I bit the bullet and rang them up. After only 30 seconds online a very
helpful Geordie lady had a look at my account and informed me that I could
upgrade on Sept 8th. There was me thinking I'd get a load of grief and it
was sorted in two minutes!!
