Truphone Bug


I'm using
N95
Software release: 10.0.018
Truphone release: 3.02 (332)

When I hold the 'number one key', to access T-Mobile or Truphone voicemail,
the Nokia screen goes blank for a few seconds then reloads - it does not
restart the phone.

Any ideas, please?

Dial the voicemail number manually, rather than speed-dialling.

This is what Truphone said, which works:

Dear Truphone User,

We are sorry to hear that you've experienced these issues when installing
Truphone on your Nokia N95.

Unfortunately the N95 can become a bit unstable when Truphone is installed
and
it's the only handset that we've seen the 'voicemail crash' on.

However we do have a fix for it which is detailed below should you wish to
reinstall Truphone.

"The issues you are experiencing may be due to a SIP stack configuration
problem with your handset. The current solution involves re-installing all
SIP
settings (see below).

We first require you to remove all current SIP settings:

1. Press (and release) the "On" button and select "Offline". If asked to
"Create WLAN connection in offline mode?" select "No"
2. Open the Truphone Application and navigate to Option>Settings>Messaging.
Change 'Truphone messaging' to 'Off'
3. Navigate to Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>Internet tel. settings. Delete
all TruVoip profiles (Options>Delete)
4. Navigate to Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>SIP settings. Select a profile
and Options>Delete, repeat for all profiles.
5. Restart your handset. When asked to "Continue using phone in offline
mode?"
select "No"
6. Open the Truphone Application and navigate to Option>Settings>Messaging.
Change 'Truphone messaging' to 'Always Ask'

You will then need to reinstall your Truphone settings:

1. Run the Truphone application.
2. Select Options>Repair account
3. Follow instructions from step 17 of our installation guide:
