What to buy ??

I am looking to buy a new phone..Main priority will be photos and mp3
player, it also needs to be fairly durable as It will often find itself
in a rucksack...As I get older I find it a bind to carry and use my
canon a80 so though as I always carry my old Nokia I could get a newer
mobile and flog off the canon....Been looking at the nokia 6020 s/e
w850i and samsung g600...Any advice is welcome...Also should br pay as
you go cos I use the actual phone part very little...

I would recommend a Samsung D900 if you want a good camera on board.
3.2Mpixel and it works well with SMS/MAIL/MMS Also supports external memory
card (mine has 2gb installed in it).

Take a look here, every phone available is listed with links to online
retailers, then you can compare what you are looking for.

http://www.mobilephonecontract.co.uk

Over 50,000 deals compared everyday, shows the true monthly cost of deals
from a large selection of on-line retailers

I do not think a mobile will match a camera picture quality pixel for
pixel or flexibility. Having had a bog standard phone on PAYG, I've
just got a Nokia 6300 on a T Mobile cash back contract (£35 600mins/
1200texts) and now use the phone a lot more - although not managed 600
mins/month - so must try harder . Time will tell with getting the
cash back, but a few simple precautions should mitigate non refund by
The Mobile Outlet. Phone v sleek and SS case smart. Radio/MP3(M4A)
is good - in fact I am amazed by it. Takes a 2GB card. Camera 2MP is
not as good as a 4 year old 2MP Kodak, but perfectly adequate for web
publishing and snaps. I would stick to a small digital camera - cig
packet sized.

A Sony K810i or K800i, with a few extra quid spent on a memory card. The
cameras have autofocus and a real flash, not a poxy white LED array. If
you really want to go for it a Samsung G600 or Nokia N95 have 5
megapixel cameras.
