What did they say when you asked them?
The mobile companies store text messages, incoming/outgoing numbers,
SIM and
IMEI details - all for 5 years. That's why there is no excuse not to block
stolen mobiles or trace who puts their
SIM cards in them!
This info is not available to the average call centre worker, it is usually
via police or security services speaking to the company direct. They have a
department dealing with this sort of thing and you will need a production
order to get it. That is from a closed hearing before a crown court judge.
The only other way is if someone reports you and the police investigate a
criminal offence.
If it's silly disputes or companies objecting to what their workers are
using company phones for - the mobile firms will not help you.
