    Broons;

    I don't know if this will work for you; 1) across the puddle, 2)
    w/multi-part messages but, I use my email client. So, for example, when
    I "sms" to anyone on the AT&T cell network, I append @txt.att.com to
    their cell number in my email client and away I go.

    The addies aren't widely disseminated and a carrier, once in a while,
    will change the domain used but overall, it's been as dependable as
    overall sms-sms transmission.

    If I have a long sms to write I use my ancient Palm Zire 71 SMS utility
    and infra red it to my ancient Nokia 6310i: works a treat and saves my
    ancient thumbs from strain.
