    At the top of the display, looks something like this & I can't get rid of
    it:-
    0_0
    There's no mention of it in the crap manual.
    Anyone have a clue?

    typical of Nokia, I had a car and set of headphones which were not in the
    manual

    turned out to be icons for in car connection and headphone
    connection............both appeared without either applied............some
    internal fault.

    I got a Motorola V3688 that came with a BMW 735i attached. The insurance
    cost a packet! When you switched it on BMW appeared in the screen, which
    was a clue to check for the car, which wasn't mentioned in the manual.
