Wtd: Builder proof phone.

Any recommendations for a phone that will last me more then 4 weeks?

I started with a Samsung 330(iirc) slide phone, which failed after
around 3 months. Dirt in between the slide caused the demise of that I
think.
My next was a Ericsson which last 3 weeks before it would randomly stop
responding, in effect, it was like a computer crashing - you can see
everything on screen, but wasnt responding to the buttons.
My current T39 has lasted just over a month (it is an old phone!), and
has just started doing the same as the T20. It looks in perfect oprder,
so maybe it has had a knock sometime.

So, my query - any recommendations for a phone that will last a
reasonable time? That probably rules out any 'slide' phones, which would
get dust in them.
Ta
Alan.

I think i'd go for the absolute cheapest available, such as a Nokia
1112 - if it breaks, the most it'll cost you to replace would be about
£25 as a PAYG contract you won't use, just swap the SIM out !

Something that is interesting so far, is that only Nokia have had a
mention regarding durability !

Sonim XP1 should do the trick, not cheap though at 210 quid a pop...
http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=151177
and also available in black or grey if bright yellow is a bit too garish.

Here's a video about it, which might prove that it's worth the money:
