N95 8GB coming soon to 3UK

JOY!

Rumours have started and I've just got off the phone to 3 Direct Sales to
get it confirmed.

The New N95 (8GB) Black will be rolled out in November on the 3UK network.
They couldn't give me the exact date, but they are just awaiting
notification of stock.

I'm due an upgrade in Jan 2008, so I know what I'll be asking for OR can I
get it earlier? Think I need to make another call.

If you do ask them what other phones they have coming. Their line-up has got
a little stale.

Wow, I wonder how much they'll demand the software be ****ed up before
it's released. A smartphone on 3? I hated what they did with my e61
and would never have a phone with them again.

What did they do to yours?, mine only had some minor branding on it.

No, the software on mine was the standard stuff with a Three Theme on it.

Maybe they changed it like they did with the 6680 (later releases had a
nasty continually scrolling advert on the front that needed to be hacked
out. Without it removed the phone continually complained of not having
enough memory to complete (read as start) an operation. (ie. start
writing a text message, open the camera).

My 3UK N73 has some 3 branding, but I rebranded to a generic version soon
after I got it, working great since then, not that it was that bad before I
rebranded.
With the new N95 its going to have 5 times more internal RAM available, so I
can see this being a very speedy phone.
