Will a Nokia 3310 sim card fit a Sony Eriksson w300i?

I have had a Nokia 3310 for 6-7 years now and have been very happy
with it, but now is time to move with the times and upgrade to a more
modern mobile phone. My Nokia has no camera or mp3 capability and I
would like to buy a mobile that does have these functions. The best
around for my needs seems to be the Sony Erikkson w300i.

The only question is....will the sim card from my ancient 3310 be
compatible the w300i, or do I need to get a new one?

I'd also appreciate it if anyone can recommend where to buy an
unlocked w300i.

It will be fine, as long as the w300i is from the same network as the
sim or is unlocked.
Newer SIM cards are generally faster when switching the phone on,
store 250 names, more texts, so might be worth upgrading to a newer
one anyway.
