Best place to get a W880i on PAYG.

Can someone recommend the cheapest place to get a new W880i on PAYG?

I've looked around... and the best I can see so far is £150 + £10
airtime.

Yes, once you have spent £30 or more credit with Virgin, you can request a
Unlock code. But it can take around 30 days to arrive. Also, you'll need to
register your account with Virgin.

actually... best place so far: play.com.
they've got it on vodafone for £150 with no topup needed to be
purchased.

(also... phones4u have it for the same price as cpw but on vodaphone.)

can someone remind me what the other website is owned by cpw that does
payg?
i can't remember the name. it's not onestop... it's the other one.

do play.com send phones by special delivery or courier? Will it be unlocked?

Just asking as I think CPW do and the phones are Unlocked and Unbraned.

from experience, CPW do contract ones unlocked - presumably so they only
need 1 phone in their warehouse instead of 5 with 5 different network locks.
PAYG ones are a different matter.
also, the locked ones usually have the company logo on the phone
omewhere - whereas the unlocked ones dont.

I believe at least some of their PAYG stocks are unlocked/unbranded
too. Certainly a colleague at work recently wanted a phone to put in a
virgin SIM card, and was intending to buy the Virgin version of a PAYG
phone, but was then advised (and sold) the same handset but on a
different network, as it was cheaper and the handset was
unlocked/unbranded regardless of which network it was bought with.
