Will O2 eactivate a blocked phone

My son's phone (D900i) was stolen (so he says !) at school today. I was
planning to call O2 in the morning and give them the IMEI number to have
it blocked. However, if it turns up at the bottom of the wash basket
next week, will O2 reactivate the phone for me ? If so is there a charge?

they will unblacklist it for you, but i believe you may have to put it in
writing that the phone is back in your possession, there isnt a charge to
unblacklist handsets.
