I used the same method to debrand my Nokia 6233.

Just needed to use a different product code, obviously, and it worked great.
Also I just installed NSS with no cracks like some guides say is necessary
and could change the product code no problem. Then used Nokia updater to
download and install the firmware.

I used the EURO 1 yes, although the 6233 descriptions are different to the
E65 ones.

I've changed the product code on my vodafone e65. I then updated the
software and this removes all of vodafone's branding and software locks.

I can now use the VOIP function on the phone and make and receive calls at
home or in hotspots over wlan at a huge saving on network rates.
