Unlimited Free Texts on Orange PAYG?

How do I get this?? I have just sent a text and it wasn't free. How come
they are advertising it on TV to be free?

Is there something I need to do in order to get Unlimited texts for free on
PAYG Orange?

Thanks James

You'll need to sign up to one of their "animal themed" packages:

"Dolphins will get to text as much as they like for 35 quid, canaries get
evening and weekend calls thrown in for £40, raccoons will be able to call
landlines as much as they like for £35, while panthers get both internet
browsing and text messaging bundled for £75 a month. You'll need to sign up
to an 18 month contract to take advantage of these prices."

What relevance, exactly, does that have to the OP's question about
PAYG???

No, I don't do HTML. Just tell me. Clue...the OP wants to know how to
get unlimited texts on PAYG. He's told to get a contract; that isn't an
answer to the question pose.

Orange are saying that PAYG now has Unlimited Texts for free. This is more
BS then??

IIRC you need to be on their speak easy with unlimited text reward
PAYG tariff and topup with at least £30 every 30 days.

Their is also a 3000 text fair usage policy.

So its Bull**** then really? If you are paying 30 quid a month you might as
well be on a contract. How do they get away with such a twisting of the
truth?

The advert should say 'Free Unlimited Texts if you top up by 30 pounds a
month'

Thanks
James

It is BS, as with most things Orange these days.

To be fair it does. It's in the small print Terms and conditions that
flashes by, though the ad and marketing people are probably hoping
most men are distracted by the young ladies legs to notice.

Re: Unlimited Free Texts on Orange PAYG?

They sent me a SIM card with such an offer, it has got a table:
Monthly top up - Unlimited text reward
£10 --------------- 300
£20 --------------- 600
£30 --------------- Unlimited

Note the column heading "Unlimited" above the 300 or 600 !!!
And underneath in VERY TINY print: fair Usage policy applies, see
orange,co,uk for full terms.
You could spend a week looking for it... !
Muppets !

Martin

Which by definition is crap as if you have to pay £30 a month it isn't
free.

I'll stick with my 5 a day on the original Out Here package and the 30 a
month on the website, which *are* free.

OMG! When I was with Orange years ago in the 'good ol days' (Pre France
Telecom), I remember getting 30 free sms on their website each month! You
mean to say this hasn't been *simplified* yet?!?!?!

You know what, you can get these free SMS messages back from a
website,
where you can send free sms to Orange mobiles in the UK at
http://www.freebiesms.co.uk

The Orange/ France equivalent is at http://www.envoyezsms.fr

No, it's still there, although it's hit & miss whether the website is
working when you want to send one ;-)
