moving a number from Tmobile PAYG to Tmobile UFIX contract..

Hi
I am taking over my daughters flex account, at the moment I have a Tmobile
PAYG sim. I want to move the number from the Tmobile PAYG to the Tmobile
UFIX account. But I was told today from Tmobile that they cant do this and
the only way is to transfer the Tmobile PAYG number to another company and
then transfer it to Tmobile UFIX account!
So my question is is then any simple way around this or is Tmobile telling
fibs.....

Yep, what you are asking them for is "migrating" the number,
which they don't have to offer, not "porting" it, which they do.

Most popular network to port into, and then a month later port out of
is Virgin mobile, as their CS dept is very co-operative about doing it.

Also sometimes you can get a Virgin PAYT Sim for free.
