Daft alright
There was some case in America a couple of years where 2 or 3 men who
happened to be Muslims were persecuted by the authorities for buying
50 or 100 phones and transporting them to sell to a dealer somewhere
else
Mind you, the original cheap roaming
SIM from Swisscom was dropped
when it appeared that some of them were in use in rather dodgy areas
of the Middle East
Somewhere in on or around this desk are about 10 phones and over 20
SIM cards. If the phones have a secondhand value of only a quid or
two, what is the point of selling or throwing them away?
I once surprised the security staff at Schoenefeld airport by having 5
phones, but she didn't object
