Free News Servers to post in?

I'd like to be able to post to uk.telecom.mobile while I'm out of the
office, so does anyone know any free news servers I can use which allows
posting?

I've registered for news.motzarella.org, but PAN News Reader on my N800 only
shows they free groups even with the username and password in. I've tried
freenews.netfront.net, but doesn't allow posting even though disenter sadi
it does.

Can anyone help?

You need to force your newsreader to use authentication. See the FAQ
for the settings for various readers.

PAN is not listed there, maybe you could get the FAQ updated if you
sus it out.

There is a Authentication login section in the Server settings in PAN, but I
doubt its being sent, will try and have a look at this tonight.

A key word here is force. NNTP clients normally wait to be asked to
authenticate but motzarella is looking for authentication to be pushed
not pulled.

aioe.cjb.net is the best of the free newssevers that post and doesn't
require registration

news.albasani.net is very good, also allows posting, but you have to
register

news.motzarella.org you already know

I'll be keeping the rest as a backup.

For some reason aioe.cjb.net tends to download a little faster than
news.aioe.org
Must be on different servers?

aioe.cjb.net working well here. Does this mean that when I change from
Virgin Media (who have a news server), to Sky Broadband (who don't support
any news groups) I can simply use this one?
