N95 video playback instruction

I want to say that N95 is very powerful in various functions before
writing the instruction. Generally any video can be played easily.
However, there is no perfect thing and

sometimes, some problems will also come up. My N95’s capability is 8G.

Part one: Video Compression: rm, rmvb
1. Most movies downloaded from the internet are RM videos or RMVB
videos. And MTV mainly is WMV videos.
2. I will require the higher movie effects when enjoying the movies.
After converting movies into AVI videos, if you want to reserve the
high quality of the image and the

audio, then the converted movie will take up much memory space. Taking
<NARUTO> as an example, as for the same quality movie clip, AVI
requires 270M, while RMVB just requires

70M.

You can install the software on your PC and launch it.
1. Click “Add” button to choose the movies that you need.
2. Click the chosen movie to start set the parameters. (Below is the
screenshot)

3. Specify where to save your converted files.
4. Start to compress the files.

Notes: In Picture 1 the settings with the red circle are very
important. You know it is best to set FPS between 20 and 25. If higher,
the picture will be stuck and if lower, it

will affect the quality. In addition, video codec is set as RealVideo8
and picture is set as 320*240.

Part two: Video Conversion: converting DVD, YouTube, ASF, WMV to 3GP or
MP4 for playback.

About DVD Ripping:
There are too many guides or software to complete this task, such as
DVD decrypter, DVDshrink, and so on. But these software all just can
decrypt them into the hard drive as the

VOB files. For N95, it can not play them directly. Therefore, we still
need the 3rd party software to complete the conversion. Of course,
there are much shareware to rip DVD

into MP4. I make a comparison here:

About YouTube flv video:
You can get more here:

As long as you set the appropriate bit rate, N95 won’t have the problem
that too much bit rate cause unsuccessful playback as it is very
powerful.

About common video conversion:
There are both shareware and freeware in the market. In my opinion,
Super is OK. The downloading address is
here:http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

Among these sharewares, Pavtube Video Converter is better.
