optus sim

I am going on a trip to Australia, & need a optus
sim for my mobile, I cannot find anywhere in the
uk, or willing to send to the uk, a cheap one!

ebay seems very expensive.

Why not simply wait until you get there?
SIMs are easy to precure from the appropriate city centre shops.
Certainly I have had no problem in getting Telstra PAYG SIMs in
Sydney.
The Telstra ones effectively cost nothing as you get your money back
in calls, it could be the same for Optus. In Australia they require an
address but a hotel address will usually be OK.

Thanx for that, I will be hiring a car at the
airport, and driving north & and wanted to phone
while on my way visiting. So wanted to
pre-register before leaving the uk.
