Managed to drop a heavy object on my trusty old Nokia 6150e. It works fine
but the front screen has a crack in it, so I am looking for a replacement
front for it, anyone know of a reliable source..?
Note the actual display is fine, it's just the front cover that is broken.

Might be cheaper to buy a Nokia 1100 (about £15) to replace the whole
handset...

Maybe, but you're missing the point. I don't *want* to replace the
handset. I like the 6150, I want to keep it. I have all the accessories
for it.

You will have more luck finding a 6210 or 6310 which are vastly better
phone and fully compatible with your accessories.

True. But I still want to repair the 6150. Please stop suggesting
alternatives; if anyone can help me, please say so, if not don't reply.

Not necessarily, are Nokia likely to actually still have any..? Obviously
I don't want to pay more than I have to, but restoring this phone is a
definite necessity.

Clearly, but as he doesn't want any other advice and there is nowhere else
to buy from it's his only choice!!

The only way you'll find out is to ask!

I never said I wanted it for peanuts, please don't put words in my mouth.
I made a simple request and all I get for it is abuse. I do not want
"advice" to buy another type of phone as I want to restore the 6150 to its
original condition as a collector's item, ok..?
If you can assist by pointing me in the direction of a supplier then
please do, otherwise don't answer. And your assumption that there is
nowhere else other than Nokia to buy from is exactly that, an assumption.
Please cite proof that nobody else anywhere in the world has any. One of
my interests/hobbies is restoring old (landline) telephone equipment. I'd
be somewhat amused if anyone told me that BT is the only place I could
ever get spares.

Funny how nearly every thread you post in ends up in a pissing contest,
isn't it?

LOL

How about you cite proof that you can buy it elsewhere?
Without an original cover your "collectors item" will be far from that.
