QX call might?

Try calling their CS 0870 437 1438
http://www.qxcall.co.uk/index.php?op...ntact&Itemid=3

http://www.saynoto0870.com/ doesn't show the 01635 number
0870 437 1438 points to but i'm sure they have one

Re: Mobile call thru for 0871

Thanks Steve, I'll contact them.

Isn't all this 08xx stuff annoying? So silly to make it hard/expensive
for customers to call you.

Perhaps:

For mobiles all 08xx numbers should be classed as normal calls - or
such codes be made to be 09 numbers so people can tell they are much
more expensive.

All 07xxx numbers should be for mobile phones and out of inclusive
minutes.

I have often wondered if the US system isn't better than ours. If it's
a regular area code (inc 800 and 888) it's a regular call except 900
numbers.

Maybe there's even some logic to making mobile users pay for their own
incoming calls and classing mobile phones as "ordinary" numbers as
they do. I sometimes wish we had done it that way in the uk.

Hopefully the new 03xx non Geo numbers will stay inclusive
on all Mobile networks, and be used to replace 08xx

and please reply at the bottom of the post

My understanding is that it is a legal requirement that calling 03 numbers
costs the same as 01 and 02 numbers.

Yes it is. I am yet to encounter any company that uses one, but it is
indeed a legal requirement, whereas one doesn't really have the
foggiest what an 08 or sometimes an 07 number will cost when called
from a mobile.

I do wonder about companies that use 08 numbers. Not the ones who use
0870/0871 and take the customer's money - that is just a scam.
However, the ones using 0800/0808/0844/0845 should have figured out by
now that at least half their calls are likely to come from mobiles,
and that they are seriously inconveniencing such customers by using
these numbers and not providing alternatives.
