And a Sky News reporter has just informed me that a beam
of particles has just done a 5 minute drive in a "mere fraction of a
second" travelling through all that cable and wire.

Sold 20 X Nokia 3410's to a haulage company today. Not much demand for
these nowadays so happy to shift 20 @ £14.99 each.
Sold out of M3788's and don't seem to get them much anymore. Good
reliable phone but batteries are a little problematic.
Nokia 402 and 702 still selling. Nokia 702 getting rare, turning into
a collectors item.

And used at arms length of course, so as not to absorb any of that nasty
stuff.
Actually, I'm suprised you onw a mobile given how harmful they are to
(your) health.

I used to reflash 3310 to 3315 spec, when i had a set of Nokia
parallel and serial port, M and FBus leads, on an old Pentium2 PC.
3315 would give you auto keypad lock, and timed profiles.

I'm surprised. The crap that is on offer right now is worse, almost as
large, cramped keypad and butt ugly - those in a similar price range.

What you would need is at:
http://www.unlockme.co.uk/dct3flashing.html
Reflash with 3310 firmware ver 5 or later with Knock flasher and a parallel
lead,
and then fix the FAID with rollis nokia tool and a serial f bus lead.
(pre ver 5 cannot switch to 3315)
3310 ppm flash ver 6.07 at:
http://www.unlockme.co.uk/downloads.html
Then in rollis nokia tool should be an option button to convert to 3315
which switches on 3315 spec
Then you'll have the latest firmware version working as a 3315
