I'd like to replace my E61 with the E71, and I've been looking to get an
unlocked one. I know in the past this group (esp. Mr Terry!) have said that
O2 phones are unlocked, and mobiles.co.uk are offering good deals on this.
Will the phone be unlocked? As they are now part of CPW, do m.c.u sell
unlocked stock as standard?

I've had a K800i and two Sammy phones over that last 2 years from an
O2 shop, all unlocked. A warranty replacement for the K800i was,
however, locked.
So, you can't be sure.

Thanks.
Further investigation shows that I can buy it PAYG or SIM-free for less.
