I got an Orange Nokia 6300 unlocked from a local shop a few months ago.
I recently tried to use it with my 3 sim card and while the voice works fine
i cannot use the wap browser.
I've tried using the phones browser and also mini opera but both ways it
tell me to 'subscribe to packet data first'.
I'm subscribed to data on the sim so there must be something on the phone
blocking it.
Anyone know a way around this?
Cheers,
Doug.

You need new internet settings for the 3 network. Some phones do this
automatically, or they are available on their website and the Nokia
one - just fill in your details and the settings are sent to you-
then set them up to be the default and preferred connection

It's not a 3G phone, so your SIM card will soon be disabled for
breaching 3's T&Cs.

Depends what SIM card it is. 3 supply a 2G/3G PAYG SIM card for exactly
this type of usage.
