Do a search. ISTR reading that Vodafone had done a Linux driver for
it which was OK for any network.

Yes, oodles of people have reported the E220 working. I have no idea
whether any others of Huawei's product line do, but Google is over
there -------->

There is an Eee Xandros repository for the Vodafone Mobile Connect
Card Driver for Linux. I use it under Xubuntu and it work very well -
the only annoyance is that the window size is hardcoded for a larger
screen. There is supposed to be an UMPC version coming out, though.
