When I finallt setled in here in SoCal, I found that my credit card
bank had traced me down, as well they shpuld. O paid them off with the
few quid I owed. A month later I got anpther car4d, showing a small
amount due, made up as late paymenht fee and interest - rthey had sent
the bill surface as they did with this.
I added a note thaat if they didn't straighten it out, I would send
them a cheque for a bit more than I would owe, as figured by the
previous bills.
They wrote back that they had closed the accound at my request! (Via
air mail!)
