    Hi all,

I have recently come to the end of an 18-month deal on T-Mobile Flext35
with WnW+ (Web n Walk plus) for 42.50 per month before the VAT decrease.

I use the WnW+ a great deal, 3-4 days a week when on client sites for up
to 6 hours at a time (an N95 used as a modem mostly connected to
Exchange but occasionally using VNC or RDC) and have never received any
additional charges or warning from T-Mobile.

I would like an IPhone, probably on a £45/month tarrif, but as far as I
can tell the only way to get the equivalent to WnW+ would be to pay an
additional £15 per month and then be subject to a 3Gb cap.

    So my questions are:

Do O2 police the tethering of IPhones?

Are O2 likely to introduce official tethering soon (this would be
annoying if I had just signed up for an 18-month mobile BB deal)?

Do any/all of the mobile broadband providers enforce the caps?

Can anyone suggest a bundle/combination to give me what I want for
    around or under £50/month?

    Many thanks in advance.

iPhone tethering is not possible without jailbreaking your iPhone. It
doesn't do it out the box, and no apps on the App Store will do it. You
need to load an unauthorised application onto the iPhone to do it, and
to do that, you need to jailbreak is (which can brick your phone if you
    apply updates later).

Sorry - I should have put that I realise tethering is only possible as
described above but I am quite happy to Jailbreak the phone.
