O2 Samsung Tocco - Branding/Locked?

Thinking of getting a Samsung Tocco from O2 online - never bought from
O2 before and was wondering:

1) Will the phone be full of O2 branding both software-wise and/or on
the external facia of the handset?
If so is the software an equivalent of what vodafone seem to do with
their handsets?!

2) Will the phone be locked to O2 - as I understand O2 contract phones
are supplied unlocked.

They supply a mixture of locked and unlocked - you can't tell until
you try it.
