Hi Group
I have a couple of quick questions if you'd be so kind. Excuse the
preamble
I bought my mother a contract T-Mobile Solo 20 SIM (600mins) for Xmas
(with the intention of paying for it for 12 months). I wish to get a PAC
code from her current PAYG Vodaphone provider.
T-Mob Solo 20 is a 30 day contract although I actually sought a simple
500/600min 12 month contract with or without handset but carphone
warehouse suggested the T-Mob SIM option and of course a cheap unlocked
handset as most contracts are now 18 months!?
Anyway, I digress .. If I request a PAC and transfer the number then
find that she does not require 600 mins. Can I downgrade T-Mob at a
later date? Can I request a PAC from T-Mob at some time in the future
thus ensuring she retains her original number?
Many Thanks

Yes T-Mobile will port the number in from vodafone, and if you choose
to leave T-Mobile's Solo deal then all you need to do is give 1 months
notice and they'll give you the PAC code to take to another network.
You can change your tariff whenever you want with the solo deal too,
as there isn't a minimum term.
