Why No US Cellular Info? / LG UX5000

Hello everyone!

I actually have many questions, but I think I'll start with this one:

Why doesn't CellPhoneForums.net have any forums/posts that pertain to US Cellular service or the phones that they use?

I have searched this site for "US Cellular" and "U.S. Cellular" (quotes included on both) of which neither produced any results. There is also a forum for just about every service provider on this site, but not US Cellular. I'm looking for information on my LG UX5000 phone, but this is a US Cellular specific phone.

...leave out the quotations.

You're right. I should have separated those questions and posted them in their respective forums. (Geez, my post makes me look like I've never posted to an online forum before... how embarrassing! ) I thought US Cellular was a major company so I figured it should have it's own forum and not be lumped into the General Service Provider forum. Perhaps they're not as big as I thought.

With respect, the quotes in my search are necessary as I want to find posts that have the words US and Cellular appear together. I don't want to find posts that have, for example, the word us in the beginning of the post and the word cellular several words later. Try the search both ways and you'll see what I mean.

^^^ Actually, our search doesn't recognize the quotes, so if you remove them you will find US Cellular results, although they are lumped in with a lot of unrelated results. US Cellular is unheard of in many parts of the US (they offer service in 23 states scattered around the nation), but perhaps they should have their own forum. It's not for me to decide, but I'll point your observation out to our admins when I speak to them.

Yep, you two are absolutely right. The search treats the quotes as literal characters. Thanks for both your help.
