Caller ID doesn't recognize my cell number

My cell phone displays the incorrect phone number when I call certain business. The business I am calling cannot detect my correct cell phone number. I have contacted my service provider, US Cellular, to try to resolve the problem, but they are no help. It is very important that my cell phone number displays the correct number, can anyone out there help me, please?

Well, since nobody else has ventured a response, I'll give it my best.

Most likely, this business has a switch or switching network serving it which has one or more switches which don't properly pass along your Caller-ID information (assuming it's a landline number to which you refer). For instance, where my father lives...in the boondocks...his landline phone provider had older switching technology, and my calls weren't properly identified. They upgraded eventually, and my father now knows when I call. In your case, there could be other reasons, but assuming your Caller-ID information is typically received elsewhere, those reasons most likely point to the receiving end's switching network, or one in between where your calls are switched. Not likely on the US Cellular end. If your Caller-ID information typically is NOT sent with your call, then there are myriad more reasons why that could be.
