Verizon phone with USCC

I have read the other threads about this topic and I still have some questions. I have a Samsung SHC-A790 that is a verizon phone, but it is a CDMA phone and I wish to use it with my uscellular account. Can I just call them and change the ESN or will the person on the phone know that its not a USCC phone? I also read somewhere that if I program the NAM myself and ask someone at a USCC store to just change the ESN on my account that it would be easier sence I have already programed it. Only problem is I dont know how to program the NAM. Please help me if you can cause I would really like to use this phone if possible cause it out shines mine by alot and I dont wish to buy a newer phone if I dont need to.
