US Cellular future

Now that Alltel has sold out to Verizon, can US Cellular survive if Verizon refuses to lease towers when current leases expire? I've been a customer for years, but I'm concerned that the stock has really crashed this year, and it's not clear what is going on. Anyone know?

uscc will survive the Carson family owns most of the uscc stock they have control of the company. uscc is now in the process of rolling out EVDO so things are looking better all the time.

How is your Pearl doing? Mine has been great, except for the lousy GPS. Why would RIM/US Cellular release such a lousy feature? It rarely finds the satellites.

i got a replacement pearl i had some tract ball issues.

Does the GPS actually find satellites easily? Or do you find that it is a frustrating process to use that GPS on the Pearl?

its a little slow starting but after that its faster

What generally happens to the customers of a bought out cell phone company? Are they brought on as part of the new conglomerate? Would we need to get new plans?
