Cancelling US Cell for Android phone

I was wondering if any of you knew how much it costs to cancel a contract with US Cellular ? I generally do not like this service considering I roam at my fricken house half the time and this new Android stuff by google really intrigues me. I was looking into the T-Mobile G1 but my concern is their are no T mobile stores in my town , they have T mobile about 30 minutes from me though. Does this mean I won't get good service in my area if I switched to them or would it be fine ? Thanks to anyone who replies !

With most cell providers you are alotted a trial period. With USCC it is 30 days to test the phone and network and customer service. I'm not sure if this is true of where you would like to go, but before you cancel, find out. The buy out fee is $150 for in contract and it wouldn't do you much good to go from iffy reception to no reception. I will tell you there is a fair chance of that given that from what I know, where US Cellular is the chance of their service having the best reception is very high. Good luck
