#1 | | Newbie | Has anyone heard anything about this? I called verizon to ask about changing my plan and I mentioned to the customer service rep that it's too bad that their night minutes start at 9 because that's the only reason my boyfriend won't switch from sprint (their min start at 7 on his plan) She told me that there are negotiations in progress to change verizon's night rate to start at 7:00.

Who are they negotiating with? Themselves? They don't need permission from anyone to do this.

Rumors on Americas Choice no roam started in 2003 and it took almost 2 years until it did happen so it probably will happen. My guess it might be something they might do near the end of the year for hoilday promo.

Actions. Actions. Actions. That's what counts. | It can take awhile if there is opposition to the tower. Some of Sprints towers took 4 years to build.
Even without any opposition it still can take awhile to do approval process and paying $400,000~$1,000,000 for a tall free standing tower.

But the point I was making is the ridiculous tendency of reps to make any type of claim , whatever they think the customer wants to hear, in order to pacify them. And this isn't a "Verizon" problem, it's a human problem.
