Over the Air Programming


Verizon replaced my phone after I claimed the *228 toasted my phone. I think this may be a loop hole

If something happens during programming (most likely using *228 option #1), then it's technically possible that a phone can get "fried." Most likely, it'll just screw with the programming software and if you do a *228 again, it'll right itself. But this isn't an impossible occurrence and people have gotten replacements from VZW for *228 "mishaps."
