Info: New Verizon Phones!!!

its about time. the 650 needed to be replaced, its been out so long. the 630 will probably be a BAG4 (buy on get 4 free) just like the 650. 670 has been out for so long too and its so damn expensive. for $99 after rebate you can get a 890, MOT815, V710, LG6100 or 7000.

hey vidguy, do you know if by any chance the hinges will be stronger on the new samsumgs? i get 670's back at our store very frequently compared to others.

well, nothing has been really said particular to the hinges, but im sure they would since they are newer models and after looking at some pictures myelf, i would say that they look sturdier than the current models that are now available with Verizon

LG 5200 is coming out shortly for Verizon. I was playing with it at work the other day. Basically is kind of a a cheaper verison of the 6000 in my opinion. The resolution on the phone is about the same as the 6000. It does have a speakerphone feature and its trimode. Other than that, the menu layout is similar to the 7000 format. I don't like it.

I read about the 970 but haven't had a chance to play with it since we didn't get them in stock yet. We didn't have too much luck with the 610 (also a swivel flip). Hopefully they reinforced the swivel part. My brother in law had one and eventually the top ended up breaking off.

Has anyone played with the 970 yet is looks like a sweet phone.

That's what we're all hoping for, but speculation is beginning to abound that we may not see this phone online on the 28th. Some are saying that Verizon may hold this into December.

Sad news, I know, but I'm just reporting the speculation.

Personally, I'm hoping beyond hope that we see it on the 28th. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed!

I think the 970 is next on my list of phones to get. I did purchase the a630 yesterday for my mother inlaw, not a bad cheap phone.

Will VZW get the Samsung Blade (SPH-a900)? That phone is sweet.
