Re: ringtone questions...
1. I would first try and empty your temporary files located somewhere in your phone.

Re: ringtone questions...
I moved your thread to our Verizon forum, where someone might be able to give you some advice on your phone. We have a few really helpful folks over here and maybe someone with the same phone can help you out.

Re: ringtone questions...
1. Unfortunately, there is no way to access "temporary files" on the Verizon V3c. However, if you restart your phone, that should clear any "temporary files" present on your phone.

I had the same problem when I first got my V3c, I found that restarting the phone takes care of the problem. If it doesn't work in your situation, contact customer service, the techs should be able to work through the problem with you. It's true that more often than not, the people in the stores don't have a clue how to fix issues like this.

Re: Verizon V3c ringtone questions...
Good point Brad. Ever the voice of reason, thank you.
Tuannie, I apologize for my rash and uninformed comment.
Please note that Verizon Wireless has a nasty habit of taking phones with lots of great functionality and turning them into very expensive paperweights. Such is the case with the V3c. While other Providers may have left well enough alone, Verizon doesn't think their customers are smart enough to know what to do with the ability to clear their own temp files. In no way am I saying I am upset with Verizon. In fact, I fully understand that they are trying to limit their own liability when it comes to customer returns and repairs. however, it is frustrating for those of us who do know what we are doing when it comes to modding our phones.
This is also why there are so many posts and threads on this forum from Verizon users wanting to know how to get ringtones and wallpapers on their phones.LG VX9900 (enV)
