Drawbacks of buying through Amazon?

Looking to go Verizion here in a few weeks and have found that phones are much cheeper if you go through a place such as Amazon. But, there have to be cons not officially going through the Verizon store. Just curious, would like to get some info from you guys. Thanks..

The only difference between Verizon corporate stores and independent dealers (like Amazon) is the price of the phones. All of the add-on features (text messaging, insurance, etc) can be added on through customer service if you can't get them through Amazon.

So, why then would you ever make a purchase through the corporate store when you can get a very large percent off phones through other dealers like Amazon online?

Because you can talk to someone that knows about the phones you're interested in. A lot of people like that benefit.
