Phone was lost, bill shows fraudulant charges. what to do?

Hey everyone, i just joined but have read the forums here before for information. I recently lost my cell phone in a cross-country trip. I already owned a new phone and contract with my boyfriend whom i was moving with, and didn't think as much about losing the phone as i should have. The phone was part of a fmaily share plan, and my parents wanted to leave service on it until i'd had a chance to get my new phone # out to everyone i know. Well, now that the phone bill came, there are $100 in charges - in downloaded movies, text/pix/flix messaging, etc. It's an Audiovox CDM 8910, which i beleive doesn't even play videos or flix?!

Anyways, unfortunately since i didn't report it as being lost/stolen right away, i don't know where i stand in regards to getting those charges taken off. Does anyone have any information on their fraudulant charges policy? Will they take them off to meet their customer service goals? Also, how do i get a list of exactly what was sent/downloaded, when, and from/to whom these messages were sent?

Any other information is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

just disconnect it right away there isn't really any thing you can do unless there was gps enabled so you can trace whos using it and it would cost more $ to hire lawyer to prove it wasn't u who downloaded all that stuff and someone who did. Sorry the best thing to do is disconnect it.

You should have immediately gotten another old/used phone (have any around? Lots of people do, or you can buy off ebay), deactivated the ID for the stolen phone and activated the replacement phone. You'd still have your number, voice mail and service and maybe all for $0. I don't see why you'd keep a phone activated that you'll never see again. Your incoming phone calls will just go to a thief.
