Want a camera phone with a great camera for Verizon

So, like the title says I want to get a camera phone with a great camera (because this will be my sole camera, I don't already have one) for Verizon. Right now my eyes are set on the Samsung A990, are there any phones out there with comparable or better camera features than this phone that I should take a look at? Also, right now I'm planning on getting one off ebay if this is the phone I get, is there a better place (not signing contract)?

Also.. if anyone knows.. if I don't plan on paying any etra fees does that mean the VCAST features aren't any good? It seems like VCAST is similar to Apple iTunes.. can I upload some videos and music onto the phone with a program just like you can upload stuff on your iPod without buying it on iTunes? I'm planning on getting a 2GB MiniSD stick if this is the one I get.. unless they've come out with a bigger one.

Also.. I finally found on a review somewhere that it does have a zoom but it didn't say what hte max was.. I'm guessing maybe 3x or so at the most? Anyone know?

Ok, about VCast: as long as you are buying a Verizon branded phone, you can access VCast. It will cost you $15.00 per month to do so. VCast is only fleetingly like iTunes. In iTunes you can download not only songs and music videos (for a fee), but also full length TV shows (also for a fee). VCast will allow you to download songs and music videos (for a fee), but only short video clips are currently available (they are usually free). Further, these video clips are not yours to keep, you would have to download them every time you wanted to watch one of them. Plus, they may not be available the next time you go to watch them as they change regularly.

Also, the zoom is 4x digital.

I hate it when some customer reads about a new promotion that you haven't heard of yet. I had someone in my store the other day talking about the chaperone service where you can use the GPS in a phone to track your kids. I thought it was just a Sprint service, but apparently I was wrong. My credibility went out the window. Verizon needs a better training system or news outlet for its indirects.

Dude, your access to training and information really must suck! Chaperone has been available since early summer (I think it was launched in June). It is far from a new service or promotion!

I have zero access to training and information. I usually tell my boss about promotions and upcoming phones. My place of business sucks. I don't know how it survived for 4 years before I got there.
