Company phone upgrade help!!

I have a company phone that is through Verizon. My problem is my phone is junk and I would like to upgrade to a nicer phone. Sounds easy but our company rep is a jerk and just to busy to seem to help..not to meation the phone prices he has quoted me are extremly high $$$$. Can I buy a Verizon branded phone on ebay and program it myself? Or what do I need to do??? Any help would be greatly appreciated....

How does your company phone setup work? Do you just get the online discount threw your company, and expense the phone bill out? (what I do)

Or did your company just hand you a phone and they pay all the bills?

I would think regardless of the way it is set up, you could bring a Verizon capable phone into a corporate store, and they can switch the phones for you.....

You should be able to either upgrade your phone or purchase a new phone (via eBay or whatever) and activate it to the account without the help of your rep. In my store, we need the tax ID number of the business, the business phone number, and the business address. There is a little box that says, "Authorized Signer," but I don't think you actually have to be authorized on the account to make the change. I've never had anyone rejected because of that.

Yes...the company bought the phone and pays for everything....I have since upgraded once about 2 years ago through our rep (who sucks)...so I would like to upgrade now...
