#2 | | Mr Admin Guy | No such thing as 'opting out' of a contract. You don't have a choice in less you want to pay the cancellation fee. Carriers lock you into contracts to keep you with them.
I've always had great reception with verizon.

This will update your phone with the most current list of towers and roaming agreements. That should fix a lot of your problems with signal strength. You should be doing this about once a month.

When you called them though, you had to know what new provider you wanted, and phone, and on top of the $50 fee, you also had to buy your new phone at that time as well.
They also had an 800 number, which I called this morning, and it was in service, but didn't seem to be wirecracker anymore. If you want to try the number, it is: 800-574-7032.

#13 | | Sr. Member | What type of phone do you have that you don't get reception and which region do you live in? My family has a Motorola E815, two Razr V3M's, one V3C, and a v710 and I must admit its deffenitly the greatest provider in my area. I often have to let people with Cingular, T-Mobile, and Nextel borrow my phone. I switched to Cingluar for two weeks because of rollover then decided it wasn't worth it if I coudln't get reception. My guess is its just your phone. | | |

#15 | | I hate spammers! | That phone is over 2 years old. It is definitely time to get a new one (preferably something not made by Audiovox/UTS).
