Help! ! ! ! Could Someone Help Me Choose A Phone! ! !

hello everyone!
i'm trying to decide which flip phone would have the best reception in north carolina (if that matters). i'm leaning toward a LG or MOTOROLA and can't decide which model. all i will need is a basic phone with great battery life. i'm really new to this and don't know if i need a dual mode, tri mode, or etc.
please help narrow my search down! ! !

Well, Verizon does give you 15 days to try out the plan\phone.....maybe talk to a store rep to see what they recommend (and what they use themselves)

I'm not sure what happens after you decide you don't like the phone.......do you get another 15 days with a different phone? Perhaps a Verizon Rep could chime in here.......

You get 1 exchange under the 15 day Worry Free Guarantee. Once you exchange the original phone, you can not do it again.

I'm not trying to do this myself, but could you return the phone, wait a couple weeks, and go back? I ASSuME they keep track of this in the system....

There aren't too many tri-mode phones available anymore. Tri-mode is for when you're in an area that can only get analog, where digital isn't available.

Check out Phone Scoop. There are alot of good reviews about all the phones out there, including very informative ones written by people that are using the different stuff. Do some research, including talking to friends, family, even strangers that are using something you may be interested in. Make sure to ask a couple of 'serious looking business people' as they probably travel to different areas and could tell you where reception is good and not so good. Cell Phone Reviews and News - Welcome to Mobiledia is really good to and one of these two sites also has a link where you can check reception and tower info.

Good luck...

Not yet, but very soon Verizon's entire network will be digital. With over $5 billion a year going into the network, it won't take long.
