Deactivation!?

I recently dropped my razr and the thing snapped in two, so I'm selling the parts on ebay. My question is do I have to call in and deactivate that phone before I get a new phone. Through verizon's website I'm going to get the chocolate at full retail and I was wondering if i had to deactivate the old phone before I activate the new one.

Re: Deactivation!?

No. As long as you get the new chocolate before you sell the razr.

If you sell the razor first, then yes, I would.

Then again, if it's broke in two...chances are, nobody is ever going to be able to activate it.

Re: Deactivation!?

So if I get the chocolate first and activate that, it will automatically deactivate my old razr?

Yes, they will have to deactivate the old phone in order to port the number over to the new phone.
