Just an FYI to help out---a test call on Verizon is #832 and not #83.

I have a Casio G'z One. I have the ability to assign a picture to a contact entry in my phone book. But the picture comes up on my screen very small. Is there a code to enlarge the picture.

No such luck. The size of the picture is what it is.

Can these be used on an unactivated phone? I'm having trouble with my verizon account.
I joined up with VZW, but to get my password, they keep texting me on my unactivated phone, so I'm not getting the password. Can anyone help?

    Re: Helpful Verizon Codes

Concerning the *288 codes, what does the space after the *288 mean? Is it the # key? I also tried dialing *288, then waiting for a prompt to dial 80, 99, or 00, but I got a "Call cannot be completed as dialed right after the *288.

    Re: Helpful Verizon Codes

That's because it should be *228, not *288.

    Re: Helpful Verizon Codes

Paulcman I am referring to the:
    *288 80 - force update, ignore fails
    *288 99 - force seconday tower update
    *288 00 - original tower update

codes NOT the *228 roaming update codes. My question concerns what I press between the *288 and the two digit 80, 99, or 00 codes. I've tried several things, no dice.
